Mama:
Hi! I am the blonde, the shortest kid in the house, and mom of 4 really great kids and mom in law to a 5th. I love Jesus and married a Superman. Not the Superman but you get the point, he is a super guy, dad and husband. He makes it all happen round here. We live and work in the busy DC area and own a small business. I am lucky to have my summers off which I manage to fill up with fun, adventure and some really good books. A really wise woman (I wish I could remember who) gave me some great advice. She told me to try 3 new things every summer. Last summer I did glass fusion, and acupuncture. For the life of me I cannot remember the 3rd thing! Typical.
Fast forward to this summer, I have bit off more than I can chew. I am learning Italian, taking online piano and here it is…… started a new blog. So an idea is born. My lil mama and I are passionate about sharing good finds. Let’s be clear, I am not passionate in any way shape or form about shopping! In fact I have shopping avoidance. Our goal is to bring fun and good finds here. For you! Maybe you will also enjoy non harassed feeling of knowing where to find really great things. Our focus is on our purses, Overnight Bags, Holiday Bags, Beach Bag, and maybe even saving a buck or two.
Another wise woman (man I know some smart people!) told me to flush negativity from my life. In this light, we will share things we like, love and love to use. What’s in it for you? Lil Mama:
Hi! I am lil Mama. When mom asked me if I wanted to write a little blurb about myself I said “no, not really” after all, I am a middle schooler. I am a sister to 3 adult brothers, have a cute but annoying little dog, and love my parents. I play rec sports and do Chinese Cultural Dance. I am learning German and Chinese. My brothers always want to know if there are any boys I am interested in because they will have “words” with them. Whatever. Two of my brothers are Marines and my oldest brother and his wife are 1st Lts in the US Army. One thing I know for sure is someday when I get to date, I will always come home in the same condition I was taken out in or else!
Mom asked me to help with her new blog. It sounds interesting to me and I like to hang out at the mall. I have many purses including a super cool Poppy Purse from Coach. I plan on sharing that in a blog post. Let’s discover fun things together! Tchuss und ein schönes Wochenende!

I am Gem. I am here to provide inspiration. Sometimes I need my mommy time and attach myself to her hip. Kind of like a shadow. I take commands in German and English. I like to be rewarded with treats. I chose this family by wrestling a Jack Russell Terrier to the ground. When Mama looked down at me I flashed my puppy eyes and looked so innocent. Then Cruella DeVille picked me up in her palm and started Snapchatting pictures of me. Mama told her I was already spoken for and said “you can have the brother, he just stepped in his own poop and they are bringing him out after he is cleaned up”. If my life sounds like a Disney Fairy Tale, it’s because it is!
